The ACC championship game will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando Saturday evening.

  • Clemson University vs. Virginia Tech
  • 50,000 fans expected to pack Camping World Stadium
  • Officials say the game could bring $35 million revenue to Orlando

The game is expected to be a great source of revenue for local businesses and even theme parks.

The stadium has gone through over $200 million in renovations and it appears to be paying off with major games like the ACC coming to Orlando.

Fifty thousand fans are expected to pack Camping World Stadium as Clemson University takes on Virginia Tech.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and the game starts at 8 p.m.

Normally, this conference is played in North Carolina. However, the conference decided to move the game because of North Carolina's controversial bathroom law, which some say discriminates against the LGBT community.

In 2015, the championship game gave North Carolina about a $30 million economic boost.

Florida Citrus Sports estimates Orlando will see $35 million in revenue and the game could come back to the city beautiful in 2017.

“We have some decisions to make this spring, in short order, to determine whether that game can go back to Charlotte, and if not where it needs to go for 2017 and beyond. Certainly Orlando would be towards the top of our list since it’s been such a great experience thus far in 2016,” said Michael Strickland, ACC Senior Associate Commissioner.

If you plan to attend Saturday night's game, expect parking and traffic to be an issue.

SunRail is running on Saturday. The first train leaves the DeLand station at 1 p.m.

Visitors should also prepare for security.

A small clutch is okay to bring, but officials want everything else to be stored in a clear plastic bag.
