More restaurants at Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park will serve alcohol, according to park officials.

  • Four restaurants to serve alcohol at Disney's Magic Kingdom
  • Be Our Guest was the first restaurant to serve alcohol
  • Alcoholic beverages are already available at other Disney World parks

Tony’s Town Square Restaurant, Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen, Liberty Tree Tavern and Cinderella’s Royal Table will have beer and wine options. The beverages will be available daily during lunch and dinner beginning Friday.

In 2012, Be Our Guest Restaurant broke a 41-year tradition when it became the first Magic Kingdom restaurant to serve alcohol.

Similar to the “Beauty and the Beast”-themed, the four restaurants will offer “themed” alcoholic beverages.

Beer and cider will be offered at Liberty Tree Tavern, Italian wine at Tony’s Town Square and champagne at Cinderella’s Royal Table.

Walt Disney banned alcohol from the Magic Kingdom to keep the family atmosphere.

Alcoholic beverages are available at other Disney World parks—Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom.

According to a Disney spokesperson, the change comes after requests from guests.
