Orlando International Fashion Week will feature a special show benefiting the One Pulse Foundation. Survivors of the mass shooting will be on the runway Tuesday night.

“We actually did a fashion show in another city," said Josh Garcia, Pulse Orlando executive assistant. "We had the idea of bringing all the survivors together and really making it big in Orlando, just really showing unity."

Show organizers are asking people to support the survivors and how far they’ve come.

"You’re going to see that it starts off -- the music is a little bit more of how we were feeling toward the beginning, to how we are now," Garcia said. "Just really keeping the 49 alive, and really just showing the rest of the world we are prideful, we are united.”

Matthew Cooley, creative director of Orlando International Fashion Week with Fierce Entertainment Management, said it was an easy decision to help organize the special show.

"Doing fashion shows in general is rewarding, but having a purpose moreso is even more rewarding because it’s affecting lives on a deeper level versus superficial," he said.

“It’s been really, really exciting to watch the models and see them smile and have a good time together, and really help us bring it to life," Garcia said.

The fashion show starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday at I-Drive 360 in Orlando.

Tickets are still available through the Orlando International Fashion Week website.

All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the One Pulse Foundation.
