This story first appeared as part of the Florida on a Tankful Holiday Spectacular.

While it looks like home, it's far from your in-law's family room.

"Everywhere you look, something reminds you of a holiday where you've been to,” said Todd Ulmer.

Ulmer, the bar owner, looks more like a surfer than a businessman.

But then again, Frosty's Christmastime Lounge isn't your average nightspot. And chances are, your house doesn't snow inside.

"I've been kicking around this idea for years," Ulmer said in the glow of a year-round Christmas tree.

Ulmer's Christmas-themed bar is open 12 months out of the year. The downtown Orlando speakeasy evokes a simpler time, as well as time spent with friends instead of in-laws.

"When you're leaving the family's house — mom and dad's house — and get out and meet your friends, but still want to celebrate Christmas, here we are," Ulmer said.

A classic Lionel train rolls overhead. But sorry, kids. Not to be a Grinch, but Frosty's is for mom and dad.

"We're giving the adults a playground to come out and enjoy the holidays, too," the owner said.

On the menu, a snowball to warm you up. Yet you won't find grape flavoring here.

"We have one called 'Coconuts roasting over an open fire,'" Ulmer said. The concoction is for those 21 years old or older. The snow cones are not the kind you're going to find at the average state fair.

"Our drafts are always seasonal Christmas drafts," Ulmer said. "We've made deals with the beer vendors to get these seasonal beers all year round."

And although the larger-than-life Santa statue see you, if you have older holiday decor at home that has seen better days, Ulmer wants to see you.

"I just want to keep adding and adding and adding," he said of the paraphernalia hanging from the rafters.

And unlike Frosty the Snowman, Frosty's bar will last beyond the holidays.

NOTE: This attraction is for those 21-years-old and older.
