Two trains derailed early Wednesday morning in Marion County, causing cars to stack and crush together like an accordion.

The derailment happened at about 4:15 a.m. near the Pine Church Road crossing in Citra.

CSX officials say 7,400 gallons of fuel leaked from three locomotives. Thirty-two cars derailed and two CSX crew members were treated for minor injuries.

Officials say one train transporting phosphate rock collided with a train loaded with coal. However, officials say both are non-hazardous materials.

Other trains use the track and will now have to re-route, delaying some shipments. Cleanup is expected to take several days.
