Central Florida's weather forecast for Friday:

Tonight will remain breezy along the coast with gusts near 20 mph at times. Wind will relax for the rest of us, only to pick back up again Friday afternoon.

High clouds will dominate the sky tonight so calling it mostly cloudy with temperatures falling into the middle 60s.

Highs Friday will be back into the middle 80s.

A dome of high pressure continues to dominate our weather pattern sending us an east wind from offshore. It’s going to remain breezy in the afternoons for a few days and windy along our coast. Wind could be gusting 20 to 30 mph at times.

We are also getting considerable high cloudiness mainly coming from a disturbance in the western Caribbean stretching into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico. No formation anticipated from this disturbance however, high clouds will continue to streak across our sky tonight into Friday.

Lows tonight will be in the middle 60s while highs will climb back into the middle 80s Friday and carry into the weekend. Outside of an isolated coastal sprinkle, no rain is in the forecast.

Wave heights are forecast to be in the 4 to 5 foot range Friday with surf conditions still considered poor. Rip current threat continues to be moderate with the UV index lower due to numerous high clouds. Wind will still be out of the east and gust 20 to 30 mph at times.
