A man was killed Tuesday night in a shooting at a Casselberry apartment complex, according to the Casselberry Police Department.

The shooting was reported about 9:41 p.m. at the Carrington Park apartment complex near Howell Branch Road.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s or early 30s dead inside one of the units.
A person who lives in the complex said the area is known for violence and the shooting didn’t surprise him.
“It’s definitely scary, it’s concerning, which is why I was walking around trying to figure out what was going on,” said Jay Anthony, a resident. “So it’s definitely a concern we are trying to move and go to a different area.”
Police have not released the identity of the shooting victim.
Investigators are trying to determine what lead up to the shooting.
No other details have been released.
