Here's the weather forecast for the rest of the workweek in Central Florida:

  • Lows in the 60s overnight
  • Gusty conditions the next couple of days
  • Rip current threat is moderate
  • SEE BELOW: See the 7-day forecast

It’s not quite as cool tonight as temperatures bottom out in the lower 60s under a partly cloudy sky. Our wind has turned more out of the east northeast, keeping temperatures warmer along the coast too.

Wind will be increasing Wednesday with gusts from 20 to 30 mph, especially along the shore.

The tail end of a weakening cold front is slipping through the state from north to south with mainly just a wind shift.  High pressure will continue to build our way from the northeast keeping our wind flowing inland from the Atlantic and increasing Wednesday.

Overnight, temperatures will be dipping into the lower 60s for most under a partly cloudy sky.  Wednesday there will be a few more clouds along the coast than inland with only an isolated coastal sprinkle possible.

Highs will reach the middle 80s and wind will become gusty from the east in the afternoon.  36 days left to go for tropical season and we have no formation anticipated over the next five days.

Surf conditions remain poor for Wednesday as wave heights increase anywhere from three to five feet.  Windswell is forecast to get stronger with wind gusting from 20 to 30 mph out of the east northeast.  Rip current threat is moderate.
