The man found guilty of robbing a money carrier at an Altamonte Springs Publix and shooting him in the head was given two life sentences Friday.

Lil Burtie Willis must serve 25 years before being considered for release, according to court records.

In September, Willis was found guilty of attempted first degree murder and robbery with a firearm for the Oct. 22, 2015 robbery. He got two life sentences, one for each crime. The sentences will run concurrently.

Marco Rivera was transferring money to an armored truck at the Publix on East Altamonte Drive when he was shot four times at point-blank range, according to prosecutors. He testified against Willis during Willis' trial.
