For some Hispanic voters like Alexandra Perez, choosing between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton is not an easy task.
“I haven’t made my decision yet,” Perez said.

But there are some out there who don’t care who you vote for, as long as you just vote, such as Que Vote Mi Gente and Organize Now.
These are local Latino groups answering phone calls about elections and assembling teams to go out into the community and promote voting.
These coalitions recently opened a new field office in Kissimmee. They chose Kissimmee due to the growing population of Hispanics in the area.
“What we need to realize as Latinos, as Puerto Ricans, as Hispanics is that our vote not only counts here in Florida, for our lives that we are building here for our families,” said Christina Hernandez, a spokesperson for Que Vote Mi Gente. “[This will also] affect our lives and our families that we left behind in our native homeland.”
These organizations even worked on adapting the song “Mi Gente” by Puerto Rican salsa singer Hector Lavoe to “Que Vote Mi Gente.” A rally cry to Latinos everywhere to step it up.
For people like Perez, representing Hispanics come Nov. 8, is a must.
“And I am proud of my culture… Whether you're Puerto Rican or Mexican or from Spain, if it wasn’t for us, this community would have been disastrous,” Perez said.
The office opened in downtown and is run by bilingual staffers. They can answer any questions you may have about the voting process.
