Happy Weekend! We've got Central Florida's weather forecast:

  • Lots of sunshine
  • Temperatures will be 10 degrees lower Saturday
  • Next best chance of rain not until middle of the week
  • SEE BELOW: See the 7-day forecast

Overnight temperatures will wind up about 10 degrees cooler than previous nights thanks to the fall front pushing south through the state.

Tonight will be mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s by the time the sun rises Saturday morning.

High temperatures will also be 10 degrees lower through the weekend, topping out in the upper 70s under a sunny sky.

Our first fall cold front is on schedule to bring temperatures down below normal for the weekend. High pressure will build in behind the front, keeping our wind out of the northwest causing the atmosphere to dry out considerably.

High temperatures will only be in the middle to upper 70s in spite of abundant sunshine. Overnight lows will dip into the middle to upper 50s for most however, a few Sunday morning temperatures in Marion, Lake, and Flagler counties could dip into the 40s.

Our next best chance for any rain doesn’t emerge in the forecast until the middle of next week. We are tracking a couple of areas in the tropics at the moment, but no formation is anticipated through the next several days.

Tropical season doesn’t end until November 30.

Saturday’s surfing is forecast to be poor with wave heights around 2 to 3 feet.  Rip current threat is a little better than previous days but still moderate.  Water temperatures are now in the upper 70s.
