Here's the weather forecast for the rest of the workweek:

  • Highs in the mid 80s Wednesday
  • Cold front bringing temps almost 10 degrees lower
  • SEE BELOW: See the 7-day forecast

Overnight will be mostly dry under a partly cloudy sky along the coast and a mostly clear sky inland.  Our wind will remain out of the ENE but come down below 10 mph.

Temperatures will dip back into the middle to upper 60s but only falling into the low 70s along the shore.  Wednesday will be nice and warm as high temperatures reach the middle 80s again.

A dome of high pressure will continue to be the main player this week keeping us seasonally warm and mainly dry. Temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 80s while lows will dip into the middle to upper 60s through Friday.

Friday a cold front swings in from the North and as it passes to our South, cooler and drier air will move in for the weekend. Temperatures will be falling almost 10 degrees for lows and highs, our first big Fall cold front.

There is a strong tropical wave just east of the Bahamas that will eventually get caught up in the same cold front as it moves into the Atlantic. Tropical wave invest 99 has a good chance for formation in a couple of days and could get the name Otto.
