Surveillance video shows two men — one thinner and the other of average build — enter the IHOP at 2534 33rd St. at about 2:41 a.m. They were both armed with handguns, investigators said.

According to deputies, the robbery didn't go according to plan. After the pair realized there was no cash in the register, they assaulted and robbed a pregnant employee, taking her purse, cellphone and cash.

The employee received a minor injury to her head.

"The suspects are described as black males, 18-25 years of age. One had a skinny build, wearing all black clothing and sneakers, armed with a black semi-automatic handgun. The other had an average build, wearing a black hoodie with white skull pattern, black shorts with pink trim, armed with a silver revolver," investigators stated in a press release.
