A homicide investigation is underway after a 70-year-old woman was found dead at a Marion County home Wednesday, according to the Ocala Police Department.
- Lizzie Bracey, 70, found dead inside Marion County home
- Detectives have ruled the woman's death as a homicide
- The cause of death remains under investigation
Officers responded to a residence located at 2775 N.W. Old Blitchton Road to a report of an injured woman. Officers found Lizzie Bracey dead inside the home.
The cause of her death is unknown at this time, but detectives have ruled Bracey's death a homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
