One person is dead after being hit by a vehicle Sunday night, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at about 10:15 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Hills Road and White Heron Drive.
Vincent Magorian, 25, was driving a Volkswagen northbound on Pine Hills Road when the front of his vehicle struck a pedestrian. Troopers said the pedestrian was underneath the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the FHP report, the pedestrian was standing or walking in the bi-directional turn lane on Pine Hills Road.
The pedestrian’s name has not been released.
The crash remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
