Three more people were arrested Friday in what authorities called the largest drug bust in St. Cloud's history.
In all, 32 people were arrested in the drug bust dubbed "Operation Rollin' on the River."
But police added they were still searching for 21 more suspects as of Thursday afternoon.
On Friday, officials announced that Frances Butcher, William Jefferson and Candina Williams were also arrested.
Aside from the drugs, guns, and money all found during the bust in St. Cloud, deputies said they also found a dog fighting ring.
Six puppies and at least 11 dogs were all found at the homes off Jones Road in St. Cloud.
What started off as the largest drug bust in the history of St. Cloud quickly revealed this drug organization, of about 53 people, was doing a lot more than dealing.
Neighbors said while they aren't surprised to hear about the drugs, they are shocked by these new accusations.
"I was very surprised by it. To me, I am very much against the dog fighting. It's something I can't tolerate," said Jamie Penilla, who lives near the drug bust on Jones Road.
Immediately after the dogs were found, animal control was called. The dogs were taken to the shelter to be assessed by veterinarians. Some were injured, scarred, others scared.
Even though the shelter has the puppies and many of those dogs from that dog fighting ring, they can't go up for adoption just yet because they are still part of the investigation.
While charges against those who may have abused these dogs are still pending, the dogs wait at the shelter.
Neighbors said they can only hope this drug bust changes things for the better.
"I hope it stops for the good of the neighborhood," Penilla said.
We were told some of the dogs were injured but immediately treated by veterinarians. Most of the dogs seemed friendly and happy, but can't be adopted until after the investigation is over.
Officers said they also confiscated the following items as part of the operation:
- 423.6 grams of cocaine
- 63.8 grams of heroin
- 7 grams of methamphetamine
- 5,157.8 grams of cannabis
- 453 illegal pills
- $15,676.02 in cash
- 2 guns, a shotgun and a pistol
- 3 vehicles

One of the suspects, identified as Alexander Green Jr., was also charged with operating a dogfighting ring.
