A woman was killed early Wednesday morning in a single vehicle crash in Marion County.
The Florida Highway Patrol said just before 2 a.m., Susan Michele Ross, 49, of Belleview, was traveling south on SE 180 Avenue Road. just south of SE 86th Street and lost control of her vehicle.
Trooper said the vehicle went off the roadway, struck a concrete culvert, went airborne and then struck a tree.
Ross was pronounced dead at the scene by Marion County Fire Rescue.
