A woman who was found engulfed in flames Thursday near Winter Park has died.

Dara Broker was pronounced dead at Orlando Regional Medical Center, the Orange County Sheriff's Office said Friday.

Investigators said Broker, 43, had severe burns over her entire body. They said they were still trying to figure out how the fire started.

Witnesses said they saw Broker in the parking lot of the Winter Park Woods condominiums, off Semoran Boulevard south of Aloma Avenue, with her head and upper body on fire. A lawn worker and another good Samaritan were able to put out the flames with a bucket of water and a fire extinguisher.

"I saw a hand sticking out of the smoke, and I probably got within like 5 feet of her. It was just terrible," said witness Adam Graff. "She was still alive. She was breathing, but she wasn't saying anything. She wasn't moving, and then probably about three minutes later, cops and fire ambulances showed up."

The sheriff's office said it did not suspect foul play, but did not immediately say how the woman caught fire. Deputies did note Thursday they found a gas can near the scene.
