The biggest, longest festival dedicated to all things food and drink is back for another year at Epcot -- the 20th year in fact.

This year the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival is 53-days long, with more food, more wine, beer and cocktails, more classes and more parties than ever before. If you are planning your culinary experience, here are five things to know before you go.

1. 30 global marketplaces this year

Disney says it will have 30 kiosks full of things to try this year. a record for the festival. That includes 32 new marketplace dishes and 75 new cocktails, beers and wines. It's almost impossible to try everything in one day, so plan ahead by looking at the menu items for each festival. And a friendly reminder: Admission to Epcot is required, and each menu item must be purchased.

2. Dress for comfort

Most of the global marketplaces are located around the World Showcase. This year, however, there is an area by the Epcot Character Spot for the Sustainable Chew Marketplace, inspired by the TV show "The Chew." If you add a stop to the Festival Welcome Center over by Mission: Space, you will get quite a workout in. The World Showcase alone is over a mile in length. Wear comfortable shoes.

Also, temperatures are expected to be in the high 80s and 90s this weekend, and rain is possible. So be prepared for that. Weather will cool down in October and November, but for right now dress for summer.

3. Hidden gems of food knowledge at the Welcome Center

The Festival Welcome Center might get overlooked by people anxious to get to the food and booze. But if you have a chance to head over there, it's worth a stop. There's always something going on, including cooking demos, celebrity chef meet and greets, bottle signings with winemakers and more. Ghirardelli is also hosting its From Bean to Bar exhibit for chocolate lovers.

4. Going to an Eat to the Beat concert? Check for a Fast Pass

This year guests can reserve Fast Passes for the Eat to the Beat concert performances using My Disney Experience on the Walt Disney World website. It beats standing in line for an hour to get a seat in the American Garden Theater. Just be aware that some concerts have given out all of the designated passes.

This year there are 22 musical acts performing during the series. They include returning favorites like Boyz II Men, Starship and Sugar Ray, and acts like Everclear and Tiffany.

5. Scavenger Hunt for the kids

This year Remy, the French cuisine-cooking rat from "Ratatouille" is getting his own scavenger hunt. In Remy's Ratatoille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt, guests will search the park for ingredients to make the vegetable dish the film is named after. They'll also find 12 Remy statuettes hidden around the World Showcase. Guests can get one of six collectible pins at Epcot's Port of Entry shop when they complete the hunt.

Guests can purchase the scavenger hunt map at locations around the park.
