A 28-year-old woman was shot and killed early Tuesday in the Parramore neighborhood of Orlando.

The shooting happened around 12:30 a.m. along 23rd Street by South Lee Avenue, which is just south of Kaley Street and west of I-4.

Orange County Sheriff's Office investigators said when deputies arrived they found Casey Leah King shot several times. Orange County Fire Rescue personnel treated her at the scene before taking her to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she later died.

More than a dozen evidence markers were scattered across the street in front of the home as detectives conducted their investigation. A gray SUV with shattered windows was also part of the investigation.
