Here's what you need to know for Central Florida's weather overnight and for the week ahead:

  • A break in the rain
  • Heating up later this week

Expect some isolated showers overnight, along with mostly cloudy skies. Lows will be in the 70s.

Tuesday will bring warmer temperatures, along with more scattered showers and storms. Highs will top out in the low 90s, and lows will be in the mid 70s.

Wednesday and the rest of the week will bring seasonably hot temperatures, along with decreasing rain chances. Afternoon showers and storms will be possible, but nothing like what we experienced this past weekend.

In the tropics, the low we've been watching in the northern part of the Gulf is still only at a 10 percent chance of development. We expect the system to dissipate by Tuesday morning.
