Deputies in Volusia County are looking for suspects in the armed robbery of an IHOP in DeBary Friday night.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. at the IHOP located on Dirksen Drive.

The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said three men armed with guns and dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered, entered the restaurant and ordered four employees and three customers into the freezer.

Deputies said one of the robbers pointed a gun at an employee and ordered her to open the safe but she was wasn’t able to access the safe.

The Sheriff’s Office said during the robbery one employee was shoved around by one of the robbers, but wasn’t injured.

After the robbers left, the Sheriff’s Office was notified and deputies, a K-9 unit, a Sheriff’s Office helicopter and Orange City police all searched for the suspects but were unable to locate them.

Investigators said they are looking for two vehicles, a gold-colored minivan and a silver-colored passenger car, that were last seen behind the restaurant prior to the robbery.

Earlier this week an Orlando IHOP was robbed.

Police say two men stormed into the restaurant on East Colonial Drive and Summerlin Avenue late Monday night.

Investigators said the men came into the restaurant with guns and took cash from employees, customers, and the safe then made the victims wait in the restaurant's freezer while they took off.

Orlando police released surveillance images of the suspects, in hopes of catching the men, whose ages are unknown.
