Do you have a child that has been getting into trouble and want to have them see what it's like in jail if they keep making the wrong decisions?

Well, now you can find out in Brevard County.

The Brevard County Sheriff's Office recently presented its Brevard Attitude Modification program, which is designed to take youth ages 10 to 17 into a jail-like setting to give them a realistic look of where they could end up if they abuse drugs and alcohol or commit crimes.

The program lasts for about 12 hours. It was designed to encompass the consequences of poor attitudes, bad decisions and committing crimes.

The Sheriff's Office said it holds nothing back in the program.

It helps give youth a healthy dose of realism, as well as education them about the dangers of using drugs and alcohol.

The program will also help youth make smarter decisions when dealing with peer pressure.

"The kids will see the consequences of poor choices and what jail is like," according to the program's summary on the Brevard County Sheriff's Office's website. "They will eat the same meals that inmates eat. We are even planning to show them the ultimate consequence for their behavior: a trip to the morgue (ages 14 and up)."
