It may be summer, but it's never too early to talk football if you're a die-hard fan.

The Space Coast's only college football team is about to get some inspiration from an NFL great.

He was a member of 'America's Team' in the late 70's and early 80's and now he's bringing his message of success to the Florida Tech Panther football team

Pro Football Hall of Fame running back Tony Dorsett will be speaking at the school's annual 'Inside the Huddle' banquet Saturday.

Dorsett's career is unmatched in several ways.  He is one of only two players to win the Heisman Trophy, the College National Championship, and the Super Bowl and be elected to both the college and pro football halls of fame.

He played eleven seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and became the first player ever to win a college football championship and the Super Bowl in subsequent years.

Reservations for the dinner can be made by contacting Michelle Farquharson at mfarquharson@fit.edu or 321-674-8429

Florida Tech will play five home games on the former Palm Bay High School field and the university just announced it has purchased the naming rights to the stadium, which is down the street from campus.

The facility's name is now 'Florida Tech Panther Stadium'.
