A water main break Friday has led to a precautionary boil water notice for Eatonville residents and businesses.

Town officials advised everyone in Eatonville to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth or washing dishes.

Residents and businesses should bring water to a rolling boil for one minute. Bottled water can be used as an alternative.

Eatonville Public Works officials said the boil water notice will stay in effect until the water main is fixed and a bacteriological survey shows the water is safe to drink again.
