Oh, my. July 24 is National Tequila Day, and this year it falls on a Friday.

That's either the best news ever, or trouble.

But before you shoot back whatever you're given, you might appreciate it more by knowing the origin of what you're consuming.

"This is your best opportunity and your best chance to try three different drinks coming from three different agaves," said Hilda Castillo, Epcot's Tequila ambassador. Yes, that's a real job!

"In Mexico, there are more than 200 different kinds of [agave plants]," Castillo added.

At La Cava del Tequila, inside Epcot's Mexico Pavilion at Walt Disney World, an "Agave Flight" includes tequila, mezcal, and sotol.

"We are the only place in Orlando having sotol," Castillo smiled. "It's very unique. It's from Chihuahua, Mexico."

La Cava is debuting a "sophisticated" tequila specifically for National Tequila Day. Look for the Maestro Dobel label.

"It's coming from my town, from Tequila, Mexico," Castillo said. "It's very smooth, very soft."

In the VIDEO section up top, we've put up three clips you won't see anywhere else. Watch how to make their newest margarita, the Pomegranate Margarita, made with apple cider; a Jalapeño Margarita using Maestro Dobel and muddled cucumbers and jalapeños; and the Agave Flight.

Salut!
