Construction on State Road 50 will no longer be completed by "Spirng 2016."
Florida Dept. of Transportation has fixed the road sign that contained the obvious misspelling.
A viewer spotted an error Tuesday on the sign, posted near downtown Clermont. The sign read:
SR 50 COMPLETION:
SPIRNG 2016
If you missed it, the misspelling is "spirng," instead of "spring."
FDOT said the mistake was made by a contractor.
