Orlando police have arrested a 17-year-old involved in the hit-and-run earlier this week that sent an officer to the hospital.

New dashcam video released Tuesday by Orlando police showed the moment when Officer William Anderson was run over by a suspect's car as it drove away from a traffic stop early Monday.

The officer did not suffer life-threatening injuries.

Under News 13 Crime Guidelines, we are not naming teenager. Two other suspects remain at large, but authorities said they have identified the suspects.

The 17-year-old has been charged with attempted second-degree murder of a law enforcement officer.

According to investigators, the video shows Anderson stopping a car at a traffic light on the corner of Kirkman Road and Vineland Road.

The video from Anderson's patrol car shows there may be more than two suspects involved.

At the beginning of the video, police lights are flashing as the officer's vehicle comes to a stop behind a silver four-door car on Kirkman and Vineland roads.

Anderson runs up along the side of the vehicle and draws his gun as he approaches the vehicle while holding onto his radio as he shouts commands at the driver.

Seconds later, the passenger in the front seat runs out of the vehicle. At the same time, the backseat door also opens, indicating a third person may be inside the car.

As the officer goes around the front of the vehicle in pursuit, the driver hits the gas, striking Anderson. The officer is then seen falling to the ground.

Two pops from the officer's gun can be heard as he fired at the car fleeing the scene.

The suspect's car was found about 9 miles away from the scene of the traffic stop hours later. It was fully engulfed in flames.

"The dogs started barking at 7 a.m.," Valerie Duboise said. " At 7:10, she went radical and 7:12 roughly — boom. A big boom. It shook my windows."

Duboise snapped photos of the car burning in the wooded area across from her house on Lake Pearl Drive in the Gotha community.

"I think they are familiar with the area," Duboise said. "That's what I'm scared of. I'm worried about that."

Police still haven't released any other information about why the vehicle was stopped by the officer who had his gun drawn and ready. Anderson was working a security detail at a nearby McDonald's the night of the incident.

Two parents of the suspects have filed excessive force complaints on behalf of their sons in the case because Anderson fired shots. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating the shooting.

Anderson remains hospitalized in stable condition.
