Shawn Thomas, the man accused of trying to lure young girls to a vacant home, where planned to rape them, has been found guilty on a trial for separate charges.

Thomas sat stoic as more than 60 guilty verdicts were read, each for possession of child porn. At one point Thomas just slowly shook his head.

Thomas, of Longwood, was arrested in June 2014. According to Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigators, Thomas was working under the guise of producing a film or TV show and promised the parents of a young girl that he would get their child into a movie.

According to investigators, Thomas planned to kill the parents with a knife and rape and murder the child. He also planned to film the rape and produce a DVD to sell.

However, this trial is not about that investigation. It's a separate trial related to numerous child porn images found on his computer.

Thomas decided not to take the stand in his own defense Wednesday. After two witnesses and about 10 questions, closing arguments began around 10:15 a.m. Wednesday.

The trial on the main charges of attempted rape and attempted murder have not been scheduled yet.
