Eustis police searching for man in hit-and-run that injured 4-year-old boy

A search is underway for a man accused of running over a 4-year-old boy and then driving away earlier this month in Lake County.

The hit-and-run happened June 3 at the corner of Wall Street and Selleen Drive, in Eustis.

The boy who was hit continues to recover, but police issues an arrest warrant June 25 for Johnnie Albert Reeves.

According to police, Reeves has a criminal past involving drugs and has a revoked driver's license.

Reeves was seen driving a dark-colored SUV, police said.
