After being shut down for nearly three hours, I-95 is back open after a crash Saturday morning.

Three vehicles including a semi-truck were traveling South on I-95, when 70-year-old Robert Tarxzynski crashed the truck into a guardrail. The collision caused the big rig to overturn, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The semi's trailer blocked the southbound lanes of the highway and set off a series of other crashes.

All southbound lanes were closed and drivers were re-routed.

Tarxzynski and another driver had minor injuries.

Another person involved, a 28-year old from Rockledge was rushed to Halifax Medical Center.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
