For the second time in about a month, the Orlando Eye has been shut down.

The Orlando Eye, located along International Drive, was shut down Thursday, June 11, while crews made "minor modifications" and performed "routine maintenance," according to the attraction's website.

The observation wheel remained closed as of 1 p.m. Friday.

Last month, the Orlando Eye closed for more than 24 hours following an oil leak. This is the third time the observation wheel has been closed since it opened May 4.

Purchased tickets remain valid for 30 days. If travel plans do not allow for visits in that timeframe, call the Orlando Eye's guest services at 407-270-8644.
