Police are asking for the public's help to identify three women who are accused of "viciously" attacking another woman with a beer bottle last month inside a Marion County bar.

The attack happened around 1:20 a.m. Saturday, April 18, inside of Coyote Cantina, located at 18th S.W. Broadway Street.

According to witnesses, the three women attacked the victim and then threw a beer bottle at her face.

The incident began earlier in the night at another establishment, the victim told police.

The victim and her boyfriend were using the punching bag machine at O'Malleys, located at 24th S.E. Magnolia Ave., when another female came over made a comment about whom the boyfriend was dating.

The woman and the victim got into a fight, but it was quickly broken up.

The victim and her boyfriend decided to leave and go to Coyote Cantina.

The boyfriend of the attack victim told police that's when three women he didn't know came over and "ambushed" his girlfriend, a report states.

"He advised one girl slid and took out (the victim's) feet as it she performed a soccer tackle," a police report states.

The second woman grabbed the victim's hair, and a third woman threw a beer bottle at the victim's face.
