A man went into the water at the Wekiva Falls Resort in Sorrento Monday, but he never resurfaced.
Lake County Sheriff's deputies rushed to the resort after someone reported seeing the man enter the water.
A bystander eventually found the man and pulled him out of the water. He started to perform CPR until the ambulance arrived.
The man was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The man's name has not been released.
Police are still investigating.
