Cocoa police are investigating a drive-by shooting that left a man injured Tuesday afternoon.

Police located a man, who was struck in the upper thigh by a bullet. He told police that an unknown vehicle pulled up across the street on Lynell Lane and began firing at him.

Four shots struck the victim's residence and the fifth bullet hit the victim's upper thigh, according to Cocoa police. No one was inside the residence at the time.

The man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
