Melbourne International Airport continues to grow, especially in the past decade, but leaders want the communities' input to continue to do so responsibly.

The airport authority is outlining a 20-year Master Plan Update at a meeting Wednesday night, and the group wants your ideas and comments.

The meeting's open-house format is designed for the public to give the most input possible.

Melbourne International is the 17th busiest airport in Florida — Miami is No. 1, followed by Orlando. The airport in Melbourne provides 6,000 jobs and a $1.1 billion annual economic impact to Brevard County.

Two airlines fly several times daily to hubs in Atlanta and Charlotte.

Wednesday's workshop takes place from 5–7:30 p.m at the Tropical Haven Auditorium, just south of the airport.
