A frigteningly familiar face has emerged from the shadows in Universal Orlando's latest teaser to its 25th annual Halloween Horror Nights.

No need to check your calendar — it is, indeed, still spring — but Universal appears to already be thinking about its fall fright fest.

In a new video released Tuesday, Jack the Clown, the longtime mascot of Halloween Horror Nights who hasn't been seen since 2010, makes his "triumphant and twisted" return, posing a simple, creepy question: "Did you miss me?"

Universal confirmed Tuesday that Jack will be back to present "the biggest and scariest Halloween Horror Nights ever," on select nights from Sept. 18 – Nov. 1, 2015.

Universal dropped the first hint that Jack might be returning for Halloween Horror Nights 25 before last year's was even over, at the end of a video showing highlights of the 2014 event.

Tuesday's announcement extends Halloween Horror Nights by a week, starting Sept. 18 instead of the 25th, as previously announced in last year's video.
