An investigation is underway after a 32-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday in Fruitland Park.
Emergency personnel and Lake County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 2800 block of Register Road, where they found Aaron Jones in a yard with a gunshot wound.
Jones was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center, where he later died.
The death is being investigated as a homicide, deputies said.
