Starting Friday and for the next few weekends, Disney's Hollywood Studios will be the bright center of the universe for "Star Wars" fans.

But if you are planning to venture into DHS for Star Wars Weekends from May 15 to June 14, there are some changes and other things you should know.

1. People camp out for a chance to meet the stars. Disney has a full slate of "Star Wars" stars appearing each weekend. Some are returning favorites like Warwick Davis and Jeremy Bulloch. Then there are new stars, mainly from the cast of the "Star Wars Rebels" animated series (only Davis and Peter Mayhew from the new movie will be appearing). For some of the bigger stars, guests will line up hours before the park opens to get Fast Passes for autographs. Sometimes as early as 2 a.m. So be aware, there are standby lines and you may get shut out of autographs. Also, the two big stars for this year's event, Ian McDiarmid (Emperor Palpatine) and Frank Oz (Yoda), will not be signing autographs.

2. Everything is on Fastpass+, and those passes may be gone. Guests can make reservations for most of the major shows, including "Stars of the Saga Star Wars Celebrity Talk Show" and "Obi-Wan and Beyond." The only problem is that means people are making their plans ahead of time and it may be tough to get into these shows. There will be a standby line, but you may need to camp out for a while. Likewise, you will find it much harder to get into the Star Tours attraction during these weekends, so you might want to grab that FP ahead of time.

3. Basically, you will wait in lines for everything. It's Disney, right? So expect lines for everything -- from characters to food to getting into Darth's Mall for special, limited edition merchandise to Star Tours.

4. New, fancy "Star Wars" themed food. On top of the usual special popcorn bucket and cupcakes, this year Disney is opening a special lounge to purchase "Star Wars" themed food and drinks. Rebel Hangar has a menu full of small plate items and alcoholic drinks. The menu of items is available on the Disney Parks website. Since guests could make reservations for Rebel Hangar, you may find yourself waiting to get in for your taste of Lightsaber Bites or a Tatooine Sunset. Star Wars cupcakes are available at food locations throughout the park.

5. Jedi Training Academy fills up fast. If your kids want to go up against Darth Vader and the Empire, make signing up for Jedi Training Academy the first thing you do. However, this is not something you can do online. Signing up for the academy is still done the old-fashioned way: running like mad to the ABC Sound Studio at the beginning of the day to reserve a spot.

6. Take pictures and get social. On Twitter, Instagram or Facebook? Use the hashtags #StarWarsWeekends or #SWW2015 to share online. Plus, we want to see your pictures and read your Star Wars memories too. Tweet us with the hashtag #JediMemories, and your pictures and stories could get on our website.

BONUS: Prepare for a hot day. Where comfortable shoes, dress lightly, remember to drink water and take in air conditioning when you can. If you are wearing a "Star Wars" costume (because you can), be sure to bring a change of clothes if it gets too hot.
