Are you in need of a job? A statewide manufacturing career fair is headed for two Central Florida cities later this month.
CareerSource Central Florida will host two of the events Wednesday, April 22 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at their East Orange Career Center, 4360 E. Colonial Drive. The following day, the fair travels to Lake Square Mall, 10401 U.S. 441, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, April 23.
“Manufacturers in Florida are growing and hiring,” said Nancy Stephens, the executive director of Manufacturers Association of Florida. “They want employees looking for meaningful careers that make a difference in other’s lives. Today’s manufacturing is high skill and high wage. Those wages circulate through the economy improving the quality of life for all citizens.”
The first hour of both events is designated for Florida TRADE students and veterans.
