A boat on the Indian River south of the Melbourne Causeway caught fire Wednesday afternoon.
Brevard County Fire Rescue said one person was on board the 20 foot powerboat with 10 gallons of fuel.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission let the vessel burn and will remove the debris at a later time.
No injuries were reported.
