A 9-year-old Winter Park girl who was missing for several hours Monday night was found safe, police said early Tuesday.

Evan Ogden was reported missing and possibly endangered Monday night. She was last seen leaving her home on Brookshire Avenue in Winter Park around 6 p.m.

Ogden was found safe around 2:45 a.m. by a Polk County Sheriff's Office deputy. The vehicle authorities were looking for located the car parked at a truck stop.

She was believed to be in the company of her grandmother, Nancy Colvin.

No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
