The Girl Scouts are coming out with a new toy for children that will be sold this summer: A bake-it-yourself Girl Scout Cookie oven.
Kids — and, OK, grown-ups, too — can whip up Thin Mints and other cookie favorites at home, year-round.
But there are some catches: The oven only comes with one cookie pack. Refills have to be bought separately.
And the only Girl Scout cookie flavors available are Thin Mints, Trefoils, Chocolate Peanut Butter. Sorry, Samoas fans.
Refill packs are also available in classic flavors like chocolate chip, sugar and oatmeal.
The maker of the Girl Scout Cookie Oven — Bristol, Pennsylvania-based Wicked Cool Toys — says the flavors are "reminiscent" of the original cookies.
The oven may bring some new competition to Hasbro's Easy-Bake Oven.
The Girl Scout Cookie oven will be sold at Target, Toys "R" Us and Walmart.
