Two persons of interest related to a burglary and shooting in Christmas Friday morning are no longer being looked for, after two bodies were discovered after a SWAT standoff Friday evening.

Orange County deputies said they received and confirmed information that the two people they were looking for, were inside a home in the 4500 block on North Fort Christmas Road.

The SWAT team was called to scene and asked the people to come outside.

Deputies said the two people did not comply and went they inside the home, they found two people dead.

Meanwhile, Orange County firefighters and a bomb squad were called to the Christmas area after a man was shot early Friday morning as he arrived home from work to find his house was being burglarized.

Investigators said the bomb squad was called in because the victim, 47-year-old Jesse Lowa, apparently works or used to work for a commercial fireworks company. There were no illegal items in Lowa's home, deputies clarified.

However, those commercial grade explosives were checked out and rendered safe by the bomb squad.

The shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. at Lowa's home on Lazy H Lane, off Fort Christmas Road, north of Bithlo.

According to Orange County deputies, Lowa interrupted a robbery in progress as he returned home from work, and was robbed at gunpoint and shot multiple times in the upper body as he got out of his car.

Lowa was rushed to Orlando Regional Medical Center. Deputies said his injuries were not considered life-threatening.

Deputies previously said they were looking for two suspects, one male and one female. However, no suspects in either case are being sought at this time.

Lowa reportedly told deputies the two thieves stole some firearms before fleeing the scene.
