An Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputy was arrested early Sunday and charged with DUI.
Investigators said Deputy Sheriff Gregory Popp, 35, was arrested on S.R. 528 near Dallas Boulevard by the Florida Highway Patrol.
The Sheriff’s Office said Deputy Popp has been relieved of his law enforcement duties, credentials, and firearm pending an internal investigation.
He has been with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office since 2007 and is assigned to the Agricultural/Marine Unit.
