Earth Day isn't until Wednesday but people in Brevard County got an early start to the celebration Saturday.

Both human and animal visitors packed the Enchanted Forest Sanctuary in Titusville for the Earth Day Festival.

It was a day of exhibits, presentations, music and guided tours.

Organizers say they are committed to preserving the environment  and they invite others to join them.

"Well, we think Earth Day is important to do every day. Not just to educate people, but so that they can come out and appreciate this wonderful planet that we have,” said Joanie Faulls, steward of the  Enchanted Forest Sanctuary.

To celebrate Earth Day people are encouraged to get involved with the community.  You can do things like help launch a community garden or help keep the environment clean.
