The Ocala Police Department said a skimmer was found on one of the gas pumps Thursday.
Investigators said it was attached to pump No. 4 at the gas station located at 2400 Southeast 36th Avenue.
Police said it's unclear how long the skimmer had been there, because the gas pumps had not been inspected since January.
