One person was killed and two others were seriously injured Sunday night after gunfire broke out following an argument outside of an Orange County bowling alley.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said two groups got into an altercation in the parking lot at Boardwalk Bowl, located at 10749 E. Colonial Drive.

According to witnesses, the victims that were injured were loaded into cars and then fled the area.

Deputies are still trying to figure out if the two groups of people involved in the shooting were bowling at the facility.

"We generally don't have any issues there," Lt. Mike Crabb, of Orange County Sheriffs Office said. "We should be clear that it didn't happen inside, it was the parking lot."

Two victims, both in their 20s, arrived at Florida Hospital East. One of the victims died from his injuries and the other was listed in serious condition after suffering a gunshot wound.

Another victim arrived at Florida Hospital South in serious condition also from a gunshot wound.

The two in serious condition weren't cooperative prior to surgery, deputies said.

No innocent bystanders were injured in the shooting.

No bystanders were injured in the shooting. An empty car in the parking lot was struck by stray bullets.  Two shots went into the driver's door.

"We're still sorting through what group belonged to which one, so, we would consider them all suspects and victims at this point because we haven't been able to clearly identify who was who," said Lt. Crabb. "We have identified the people that were injured, and the investigation still continues into identifying the suspects."

Deputies are investigating the case as a homicide and aggravated battery.
