Part of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University was evacuated for nearly two hours Wednesday morning after a suspicious note was found on campus, school officials confirmed Wednesday.
The note was left at the university's College of Aviation building. The contents of the note were not immediately released.
The building was evacuated shortly after 8:30 a.m. Daytona Beach police responded and cleared the scene around 10:30 a.m. after finding no sign of a credible threat.
DB campus COA building is now open for normal activities. No credible threat has been identified. A coordinated investigation is ongoing.
