An Orlando woman is dead and an infant critically injured after a mud bogging accident in Orange County.

Around 10:45 p.m. Saturday, investigators were called to the scene off South International Drive near World Center Drive.

Florida Highway Patrol troopers said a Jeep Cherokee with two adults and their infant son became submerged in a muddy area.

Taylor Brown, 21, and another person in a second vehicle then tried to pull the Jeep out.

Troopers said 22-year-old Hallie Lewis and 1-year-old Brason Brown, who was in a rear-facing car seat, became unresponsive while inside the SUV.

Lewis was taken to Dr. Phillips Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Brason remains in critical condition at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

The incident remains under investigation.
